Hey. so, i just get frustrated when people like moss are so closed up like a squinty mole, when people just cannot be open to new possibilities. open minded. i gave him an article that did not try to prove anything, it was just explaining how something beside comprehension occurs. science is some pretty crazy stuff. we have physicists and scientists trying to come up with the GOD PARTICLE. do some research before you spurt your ignorance. anyways, yesterday, i was trying to think of another word for a 'totem'. i remember i used one before, but i forgot. so, i used the word totem, as some sort of clue or breadcrumb to leave oneself...anyways, later that night, i was reading one of the articles, and it was the glitch in the matrix. someone said, 'point check'. if you reverse it, it is CHECK POINT. checkpoint! like in a video game!? it was like my question was answered.

well, with moss, it is a TOUCHY subject. if you look at one of the screenshots (the one with the parrot i think) it says TOUCHY. later, i heard on tv, its a touchy subject. yeah, i guess it is. with me. 

another synch from the other day, i saw an article about onisian (youtube star) he is a chauvanist and judges pre teen girls bodies, Idk i just clicked on some clickBAIT (jailbait?) article. while reading it, a commercial for NISSAN came on. onisian/nissan

so, tonight i played my game for a bit, uncharted 4. a while back, i was worried that darla was mad at me...we were having synchronicities about chicken, remember? well, i decided to restart the new part of my game to the last CHECKPOINT, because i thought i might get a CLUE? they are going through a market and after the checkpoint, i see a triangle so i press triangle and there is a CHICKEN. when i go back on fb, i see that darla liked and commented on a few pics.

oh my goodness this moron thinks im being literal. i tell him, 'you squint. you don;t even want to see clearly' and he thinks im being literal, he says, 'i  havent had an eye exam in 9 years' what does that tell you? this fool doesnt even WANT to see clearly!!???! he has money, he can go for an exam. yet he doesnt. and he did not even grasp what i was saying when i said, 'hes a fucking BLIND man!" eyes WIDE SHUT!!! wide open, but really shut, because in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king (whatever that means)

i know this doesnt mean anything...but. still weird. mike came over and he invited doug over. so we were talking bout how the govt listens in on our conversations via tvs, smartphones, whatever....and we were drinking. doug kept watching his music on yt, turbo negro, nuerosis...stuff like that. then for some reason he wanted to listen to wham! wake me up (or some song i forget)...well, today he dies. but again, he sang 'last christmas' so it might have some meaning.

there was another synch too...i cant seem to remember. oh my dad, today on fb, it shows me a post from 5 years ago. to my aghast, it was a gift i gave my dad. it was a neck massager. i just bought him another neck massager, this year!??!

so, i tried to show moss the feeble sheeple a link, he thinks its all good media, newspapers, snipes, and people. he cannot comprehend anything aside from PEOPLE. he cant see past this constructed box he is stuck in. stuck in his apartment in hollywood, hoping to move into a house, score a 100k a year job, (good for him i wish him well) he cant see past SNL jokes, MSNBC, stocks, tv tv tv, the new fad in country music...he cannot see TIME and LIFE (maybe the magazine versions that is) and the universe...he only sees what his conditioned glasses show him, and he squints because he doesnt wear his glasses! so he doesn't see the big picture! he refuses too. he is like rain man, full of useless info.

Shazaam, Sinbad, Genies, and Seriousness

It appears that the Sinbad/genie/Shazaam topic has reached critical mass and journalists are covering it as “new” news.

For long-time Mandela Effect readers, that topic isn’t new. (There are over 110 comments in our related conversation that started in 2015.)

Yes, I was tempted to say rude words as I read the New Statesman article about the Shazaam movie and the Mandela Effect.

I wanted to explain (talking at my computer monitor, which doesn’t care one way or the other) that, no, I don’t “fervently believe that Nelson Mandela died while in prison.”

(Hello. Forest: Trees. Some journalists are missing the point of this site. Or, they think we take this topic — and ourselves — far more seriously than we do.)

I thought the many interacting worlds concept finally gave our conversations a possible foundation, at the very least. I thought I could finally stop defending this concept.

(Really, I’m ready for lighter, more interesting and speculative “what if…?” discussions.)

Instead, I see new articles labeling the Mandela Effect as “false memories,” with the same tired arguments that this is entirely confusion or a mental disorder.

So, because I need to say this, and speaking only for myself and those I discuss this topic with in real life…

Most of us do fact-check our own memories and what others report. We’re looking for something we may have misunderstood.

We don’t insist that Mandela died in the 1980s, or any time other than the 2013 date he passed from this world. (If we did, this would be a very different kind of website, and include conversations about conspiracies.)

We’re not “Berenstein ‘truthers’.” We know that a casual browse of any public library’s shelves (or Amazon’s book lists) will show Berenstain.

Well… mostly. Typos happen. Amazon has been correcting most of them at their site, ever since George Takei mentioned the Berenstein/Berenstain topic. (He remembers “Berenstein,” too.)

Some people recall Shazaam (or a movie with Sinbad as a genie). Others don’t. That’s normal for these alternate memories. I don’t know anyone who claims to recall — with certainty — 100% of the memories on the main list.

We accept that some of our memories may be flawed, faulty, or downright wrong. That’s normal for anyone and everyone.

Maybe our source was wrong. Maybe we misinterpreted something, in passing (no pun intended). Maybe we just forgot. Human errors happen.

What we agree upon:

1. Many of us share unorthodox memories.
2. Something odd (and fascinating) might be happening.

From my side of the dashboard, some of these “alternate memories” are eerily consistent, even when I didn’t publish the earliest reports. That’s intriguing.

Most of us don’t think this is a conspiracy.

It’s just something we can’t explain, yet. Sort of like how gravity works. And some aspects of lightning. And whatever Einstein meant by his incomplete time-space theories. Or even why, in some countries, carsstop at green traffic lights.

The Mandela Effect is quirky. It’s weird. It’s fun, if you step away from the topic and look at it intellectually. (I’m trying not to seem insensitive to those who feel traumatized by this subject. I’m also mindful of the anxieties of those convinced this is a conspiracy.)

This site has been based in, “Okay, what if alternate memories are mostly accurate? What if alternate realities exist, and we can interact with them? Then what…?”

As I see it, Mandela Effect is poised at a cool, kind-of-unsettling seesaw fulcrum, between sci-fi/fantasy and physics.

At this point:

The Mandela Effect is recognized as something real, independent of how the individual explains it. (That includes everything from snarky skepticism to fervent belief.)

The topic of parallel realities — and their possible interactions — is becoming more credible. And, that data has been provided by people who (mostly) don’t care one way or the other about the Mandela Effect.

It’s time for me to have fun with this topic, instead of defending it or trying to moderate conversations best held at Reddit. (Reddit provides a far better home for active conversations about individual memories, and for correlation of them.)

So, I wish you a very happy holiday season… whichever of the 50+ seasonal holidays you celebrate. (Or none of them, if that’s your choice.)

In 2017, let’s take this topic beyond individual Mandela Effect incidents.

Let’s look at the bigger picture. Let’s examine more of the speculative, “what if…?” sides of this topic.

And, let’s see where this takes us.

I am happy that I am actually.....OFF SASY COMPLETELY! It has been a very long time! This has been an extremely lengthy process, but I am gettin there..(wherever there is???). 2017 will be a good year for me. I have suffered enough, and I can only speak from personal experience. In the grand scheme of things, I am healthy, I have a job, I have my own place. Last January, I looked up to the night sky and made two wishes upon two stars. "I wish to get my own place", and, "I wish to get off sasy." And it took a while, yes, but it did happen! I got my place in May, and I got off Sasy last week. I do need a car, yes, and I am trying to save, of course it is hard to do with rent and bills. It's ok, I will get there! Now I can start travelling. I have Las Vegas coming up, and New Orleans, (although I am not so sure about NO right now unless I quit this harried job...and get another job.) This job, albeit I am grateful, it is very tough and very depressing. I do like working, but it takes a toll on me. 10 hour days till 3am. I don't think I can do this much longer. When I get a car, I will look for other jobs. Or, maybe I do not even need a car right away. OH MY GOSH IM HUNGRY i cant think. but yeah..we will see how it goes. will i make it to the 1 year point? or will i take a break and go to new orleans and enjoy life again???? hmm, guess we will see! ciau

sad news and weird coincedence

the other night at work, i was reading a new stephen king book i bought for 5.00 at five below, and one particular scene, someone in a car ran over people waiting and sitting and sleeping in a parking lot. when i get home, i find out that 2 terrorists ran over people shopping at a christmas market in germany. how terrible. i also found out that venessa, the girl whos bunk was right next to mine at jail, died from a heroin overdose. she was so young, 22. i remember thinking, she has her whole life ahead of her. i just cannot shake or fathom that she is no longer alive. the first time i saw her, it was when me and the other two girls first entered the jail, like i said in my jail blog, it was open and there were bunk beds. it was still early, and pretty cozy actually. I;d say, it was about 10 am, and so some of the girls (women? idk) were still sleeping. I saw a young girl dance about, all happy and girly like, pimply faced but cute, and she went into the cold tin toilet and sink bathroom with concrete beds in it, and a tiny little window, to go and brush her teeth. she was curious about who the new girls were, this was venessa. a few things i remember about her, from the jail, since it was the only time i saw her or know her from, is that she liked the 50 shades of gray books, she had a boyfriend in prison, since they got caught selling heroin, which is why she was in jail. she had a miscarriage when she first got there, because she was coming down from being addicted. i remember it had snowed outside one night, and we saw the cop car lights outside and a giant spotlight. they were searching for a criminal on the run, so me and her were pointing out the window, kidding around of course, to try to help whoever was on the run. she says shes always on the side of the criminal, never the police. she really liked the pancakes we would have on some mornings. she was the baby of the group. i remember during the college class we would have, she was juxtaposed in with girls her age, but collegiate, smart, studious girls. she even said how she was the same age as those girls, but so different. it's so sad, because she had potential, but drugs essentially took her life. one time, that pretty, dreadlocked girl, pixie, tried to offer her some heroin she somehow scored and managed to get passed the officers into the jail. i even brought that up to venessa when some drugs were actually found. venessa did not want to do the drugs. we all had to do pee tests that one night. i just...i dont know. she liked to play uno, and liked to try to play spades but the other black girl didnt really like her to play since she messed up all the time. but everyone liked her. after she got out of jail in august, she went to a halfway house. i guess soon after is when she did heroin again, which cost her her life. i saved a photo from her fb...

i dont know, but whenever someone i knew dies, i just tend to think about it alot...

k so...this girl on fb posted, 'what is your blood type'? and if you don't know, why not?' when i read that, i heard a commercial for deal dash say, 'you don't want to know' then forensic files came back and it says, 'he knew' then i reread the post and when i read blood, i heard it on forensic files. it said, 'the dna matched the blood'. the show also has a stripper and the girl who posted is a stripper who started a gofundme 'from stripper to dental assistant'

i just read the code cracking blog, and when i opened it, i heard, 'everything is up to code' on flip or flop..(i looked for that specific show to see if i could quell any tension between the couple)...is quell a word??? oh boy time for bed!

hey. so, sometimes i get sort of..facebook synchs, but im not sure if that is just the way analytics work. for example, whilst scrolling through fb, i saw a pic of a guy on a plane, with this woman in the seat before him whose hair was flowing over the seat. it asked what would you do? (ask her to move her hair, pull it, sniff it, braid it), most guys said sniff it and/or braid it btw...so..next post, was a video on how uncomfortable it is for fat people on a plane. so the theme seemed to be, airplanes..

So, I saw a video posted on the spellbinder and occult group, and it was basically a christian video (one where the guys voice sounds. well...gentle but assuring..not sure how to explain it. but i went to look for the actual bavarian celebration of folklore krampus, and let me just say...its METAL! yes they are demons...i guess... but when i see this, i think...another culture...if you watch it, it just seems kind of magical in a bavarian, christmastown sort of way. i like nutcrackers (lol)...christmas lights, snowflakes...i like folklore stories like the pied piper etc...KRAMPUS (but the movie SUCKED!!!)...i dont know? whatevs..you get it or you dont...
