Project Glass: One day...

OK so a while back, (when i was working at the airport, and i was going up the escalator to the cool sunny bright section airside, i was thinking, it would be cool to have camera contact lenses. contacts w. a camera in it. well, i saw an article where they might do that. wow! spy cams big brother? heres a new thing, glasses, that tell you how to think. sure looks cool and all. come on! we can think for ourselves! we can figure out where the music books section is. ((i stole this from a post i saw on facebook, sorry nic! i just think its clever, funny, so im going to share))

glasses that do some of the thinking for you.

This is what Die hipster say about it.

Let’s break down this video step by step and count the hipster clichés:

1. wakes up between 9 – 10 am with no responsibilities.

2. only plan is to *see* Jess tonight. (keep in mind the word “See”)

3. has unlimited amount of free time so heads to “Strand Books” at 2 in the afternoon.

4. does not know the subway system but claims to be real new yorker like a true hipster transplant.

5. buys tickets for complete nobody ukulele musician show.

6. then immediately becomes musician and buys ukulele manual with daddy’s credit card at “Strand Books”

7. meets identical thick framed, scarf wearing, out-of-place pussy hipster pal just to be shown this awesome coffee truck he was telling him about.

8. buys “MUD” coffee from truck and “Checks-In” so entire network of gentrifiers will know how cool he is.

9. accomplishes nothing but being seen in public with hipster friend drinking coffee.

10. takes picture of horrible hipster street art to show his urban grittiness on his graffiti blog.

11. goes to “rooftop” to *see* girlfriend and play ukulele. Virtual girlfriend is elsewhere banging someone who weighs more that 130lbs, has a job, and doesn’t play the ukulele on rooftops.
