yesterday i went to the cemetary with mike, to look for christians grave. while seeking for it, i was asking aloud, 'what happens when we die? where do we go? where do our souls go?' and just a few moments ago, i got my answer.
see, a while ago after the church service, we usually have cookies and coffee etc in the church cafe. well, one of the church members told us that her mother died for 20 mins (also another guy at the church says this too)...but the mother was upset and said, 'i didnt go anywhere!" she doesnt remember...if she did, that is. i do not know!?? but anyways, just now, as i was scrolling fb, i saw an article by vice. its called, when i died and came back, i didnt go anywhere....and im reading the comments and someone else said the same thing too. nothing...blackness. thats it.
how terribly sad. how impossibly tragic. why!?? after all the effort into loving, giving birth, raising children, having a family, getting married, we just ...disappear? lights out? thats it!?? i refuse to believe this. its just such a tragedy and comedy wrapped up in one. or maybe thats it, comedy and tragedy, yin yan, as above so below...maybe thats the puzzle. balance and solarity.
"I died on August 19, 2011, near my house in Arizona. I was fully engulfed by blackness. That's all there was. I was not in my body, I was not with my body, I was not part of my body, but for a while I was still somehow aware of it all. It was black and pleasant and nothing. I was dead. And that was it."

this sounds absolutely beautiful (one of the comments)
Anyone who has really died knows that there is no death, only a change of worlds. We are all right where we've always been, no one's going anywhere, we can only dream of being elsewhere. The soul is its own eternal abode, so while the body is still warm, welcome yourself back home to yourself, where there is no arrival or departure, coming or going. Life and death are one and the same, there is no difference. You are either still in the body, or not, but we exist whether we like or not, and we have never really left home. Home is real, and we "get there" by the degree to which we are actively present where we are. Yes, there really is a God.
thank you, i needed to hear that
EDIT EDIT:
I WAS Going to say mike and I visited our friend, Christian Moncks grave, well we could not find it. i am still scouring the comments from that article, and I see this:
is that christian? answering me? christian monk...hmm...that name itself kind of seems like an answer...christian (believing in God), monk, believing in nature..i have to research more on that...wow
i dont know, but i got something of an answer, a synchronicity, and that has to mean something, right??
i got another synchro but ill just blog about it later...
