i know this might , will, soun icky and gross, but i dont care no icky and grozz!! so anyways, i kind of like having a heavy period again!!! like, i used to get really heavy periods where i had to wear thick pads with a tampon, (i mean, what girls just wear a tampon?? especially on the first day...women be acting like they just wear a tampon and thats it um NOOOO that shit WILL seep right through just a tampon..).for real tho! i mean, on my last few days then yeah, but not the second day (first day is always slow), its the second day that is heavy. when i started taking birth control, my period became very light and short, which is nice, yes, but since i stopped taking b.c., its back to heavy but I like it because it means that my body is still good and im still releasing eggs and all that. YAY FOR RELEASING EGGS!!!

Yes birth control REALLY messes our bodies up! i had all kinds of problems with it in the summer. It was awful. they said my reaction was rare, i never knew anything like it in my entire life. its like it stopped me producing estrogen and i dried up. the estrogen is what keeps the vasgina moist and i felt so poorly i was soooooooo thirsty no matter how much i drank it would not quench my thirst and i went so dry down there it was even painful to walk, it felt like it was burning. At first they were insiting it was STI and send me clinic from doctors for tests. i had tests 3 times all negative which i knew it would be. then they gaveme metronidazole for BV beacuse i had also been showering far too much and using lots of soaps and bath products so along with the estrogen levels falling i caused ph imbalance, then the metranidazole gave me thrush that was a nightmare to get rid of. it was all awful. i was so sore and felt so ill. of course i stopped taking the birth control but it messed up my cycle for months, about 3 months in total until my body began to get back to normal. the whole experience was a complete nightmare. I have started using natural ways to wash now, no chemicals its like the soaps left me with contact dermatitis which i already got really badly on my hands too, that got even worse when i worked in the hair salon. I used to always get hollywood waxing done but terrified too now because i dont want to irritate myself but i dont want to be hairy and i cant put lots of soap or shaving foam on to shave it either or will get a bad reaction. its so awkward.

Deleteit is so nice to have your cycle back to normal and know when it is coming and all that. I have had crappy reactions to all contraceptions over the years. The IUD i had mirena it did same thing to me made me dry and sore inside cos i was not producing the fluid to keep it moist in there. The injection (not had for about 20 years, i only had it once, now too scared what are they injecting into me?) that made me bleed constantly. the implant was the same, bleeding all time and soooo hungry i had hunger pains, then i got a bad body odor problem, serious as soon as i shower i smelt under my armpits again, that was horrible and made me feel nasty, and then the pills messed me up too. It is a lot we put ourselves and bodies through like thaat as women. Now i am older i started to know my cycle if it is natural and i know when i ovulate and when my period comes it is always exactly every 28 days
ReplyDeleteyeah..too bad there isnt an easier way of bc that doenst affect your body. yeah we do go through alot. my friend had problems with mirena she actually got pregnant on it.

ReplyDeleteI actually don't care for it or love it; I do love to use it by sneaking ketchup bottles into the bathroom of high-end restaurants and putting the period blood in the bottle then complaining to the manager that the ketchup smells like period blood and getting a free meal.
