a vegetable pattie (not the soy kind or fake meat types tho its just like chopped vegetables shaped like a burger pattie) on home baked bread i baked earlier today, i fried onion and dipped the slices of bread in the butter i fried the onion in, i put the onion on the bread and put under the grill to melt the cheese then i put the pattie on it and lettuce and fried tomato (but the tomato made it soggy) cholulo hot sauce and mayonnaise and i made it liek a sandwich.. i put salt and pepper cholulo sauce and mayo on my fries too. ReplyDeletei used to do the thing years ago where it was a phone line...basically there is tv channel in england called elite nights, or something babestation, there is a few of them..they have girls on the TV and a number to call but the guys call it gets sourced out to any random woman working on the lines in her house.
I remember had to have landline phone, you have a pin code and when you are clocking on to work you put the code in, then the calls can divert to you, there was also a call centre you could work from if you was in the city it was based..not sure where...there was a woman who had a horse smokers voice, she was loud and barked her sentences out if that makes sense?

The company are making money, from the person calling the premium rate number to start with, so they are ok even if the caller hangs up quickly, but not you if you dont earn until aftera certain amount of minutes.
I think some of the girls on the Tv itself are like glamour models who are attractive and get paid decently but some of the girls are awful and i know they get paid £20 an hour to sit with their boobs our shaking their bum all night..for everyone to see! I knew a girl who did that too.

ReplyDeleteI have a funny story or interesting story i dont know if you will think so that i remembered when i was telling you about this...When i was a teen i used to call a free for women chat line that i saw the number advertised in the back of magazines to. it was called House Party. Women called a free number.
Men had to call the number that came on the TV advert at night. If a man called up on the woman line it was no use to him as could only talk to men from that side..and soon got kicked off by a moderator. you recorded an intro message and would listen to all the other people 'at the party' intros and a recorded voice in between would ask if you wanted to send them a message ect...
so if you did you recorded a message and sent it then they could send one back, or vice versa...you could also request to private chat which was like the two of you connected like on the phone actually talking and then could exchange number quickly to call each other regulary cos it was a premium rate number for the guys. Lori men from all walks of life, colours, races, ages called that line.seriously. it was crazy.
i talked to ALL kinds of people and meet some too. One was a DJ who was popular then and still popular now in the UK raving scene..one had a number one single here a few years after too...anyway...I was at a lonely time then too, it was when i was homeless and 16, although i beleive i started to call the line age 15 because i had terrible insomnia at night and had dropped out of school...
anyway one night YEARS after, when internet was on the rise and social media ect..bt nothing like it is today..i am talking like 10 years ago when dating sites like the one i met my boyfriend on were just mostly empty and the guys were just not the ones! lol i think years ago i made a blog about it! on my old blog..anyway i dont know why i decided to call the number for the telephone chat line to see if it still was operational, no idea why, i dont know it now but in past i had called it so much it was etched into my memory...
well there was no one on the line, maybe 2 or three other people...nothing like in its 90's heydays when there would be like 90 people on the line to choose from. I ended up speaking to a man who was very well spoken (oh once you asked me what is my accent? it is london but mixed up with a feew other dialects where i have moved around, street slang, quite ghetto unfortunately!)
This guy was what we call 'posh' sounding..like how English people sound on American TV lol...he told me it was his company, his business and it was over. He said in the past the time i remembered it had been so successful it made him a fortune but now the internet had taken over and people were talking to each other online and he had no choice but to close the line down, it was not worth keeping it going as I could see no one phoned any more.
It was a strage conversation, you know? i never expected to wind up talking to the man who created the chat line! he sounded so sad too. I know he had obv made loads of money from it but it was sad too, like the times had passed him by and left him behind kind of thing!
I never called it again.
wow that is so weird!? thats a really interesting story, it could almost be turned into a book or a movie. it is sad, back then, you could actually SPEAK and hear voices, communicate that way, now, its all online..so you just type...i think it is a lot more personal when you can leave recorded voice messages, and that way, you can always hear a persons voice and decide if you like their voice. often times, the voice reveals a lot..its like, you can sense someone through their voice. thats an interesting story. thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteYh i used to stand in the public telephone box and call the free womens number because this was before people really had mobile phones, the first mobile pay as you go phones had just come out on a network called orange and it was 50p a minute calls!

yes i remember using phone cards that i had to purchase to call my parents and such, when i was in the army. there was a phone booth in the hall and we would have to wait until it was empty to call.
