!!!East Coast vs West Coast!!!

ok well, i wanted to write a blog so i will just now, but damn, mike DOES NOT believe in air conditioning!!!! why? because it takes too much energy, or, it costs too much. so, i had wanted to make a quick blog, well, whatever. the other day, i noticed a facebook like page asked the question, which is better? west coast or east coast...and of course, everyone answers, WEST COAST FTW!??! alright you know, i disagree. well, you see, i do love west coast, sure...sure, why not!??!? not only are people there quite oblivious to anyone else unless they can use them entertainment wise...(HA HA! just kid...thats not true. i just felt like saying that, although i have been around people, you see...its just...different out there. here, let me try to explain!! if ya will....see, people who grew up there, they dont understand that out here, its beautiful. they have never experienced walking or running barefoot, through cool, lush, green grass. they have never smelled the pine cone smell of the forest, or the summer nights out here, with the crickets. ahh! i LOVE that sound!! have they ever caught fireflies? nope! cuz aint no fireflies in LA! have they ever went swimming in a 'swimming hole'..or a 'crik'??? (per vermont) no!! or, the river? ever collected cattails, or blueberry picking (per canada)....ever played flashlight tag, or hide and seek in your country town?? no? ever go exploring through the woods, and hang out in a clubhouse or a treehouse? no? ever swing on the tire swing? no? ever feed the pigs in the morning, or the chickens? and smell the hay smell, or the smell of farms? ((which i LOVE!!)), ever go horseback riding through the woods, or the meadow? yes you can do this west, but its just different out here, meaning lovely, beautiful! when summer comes around in california, it doesnt even matter, because the weather is always...fairweather climate...here, its so great when summer comes about. the flowers are in bloom......there, the summer breeze doesnt hold bountiful, the sky is never full of fluffy, happy clouds! (bob painter..forget his name?) it doesnt seem like california inspires fantasy wonderworlds, like it does here. ever get pushed in the mud or have a dead frog whipped at you? *takes drag of joint* 

ever see the northern lights? or a shooting star? ever run through a field and get ticks? ever play in a sandbox full of national geographics? ever play the ouija board in a slave quarters house in george washingtons secretarys old digs? no??? and garner an actual spirit? ever drink beers in the back of a truck in a cornfield, and later everyone has to run and hide from the cops? good times, good times! ever go on a 'booyah' driving through country roads taking hits from a bowl? what else? ever walk through a colonial town you used to live in, and see flowers floating through the air? ever live in a quaint apartment complexes where your other relatives were, and rode your tricycles and later bikes in flemington nj? ever get burned in the leg by the back of a motorcycle in that parking lot? ever go sledding down huge embankments of snow, to fall over but be caressed by the gentle cold snow? ever lose a sweet secrets in the snow, well, have your sister lose it? ever blow bubbles off the paintstore you used to live on, and hear people comment about the bubbles below???

ever ride your bikes gleefully around town without having to worry? ever go exploring in 'the pit' and find playboy magazines and then hide them in the cornfield? EVER PLAY ON THE EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY FOR THE MINING IN THE PIT PLACE OF WORK? NO? WELL THAT WAS ALWAYS FUN! EVER GO ACROSS THE RIVER AND EXPLORE THE ABANDONED FACTORIES, WALKING DOWN THE DARK, COOL STAIRWELL INTO A DARK ABYSS UNDERGROUND? EVER WALK UP SOME TOWER AND IMAGINE JUMPING OFF IT? EVER GO SWIMMING IN A NEVER-ENDING TURQUOISE BLUE QUARRY WHILE A GUY YOU HAD A CRUSH ON GOES SPEAR FISHING? EVER JUMP OFF A ROPE SWING INTO THE RIVER? EVER JUMP OFF THE 20 FT BRIDGE INTO THE RIVER? EVER WALK ON THE BRIDGE WHILE A TRAIN PASSES BY, INCHES FROM YOUR BODY? EVER BUILD A CAMPFIRE ACROSS THE RIVER? EVER SWIG JACK DANIELS DURING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE GRAFFITI'D PUMP HOUSE? EVER SPEND DAYS AT YOUR BEST FRIENDS HOUSE, CLEARING OUT THE FAT SPIDERS THAT SKEEVED YOU OUT? OR PLAYING NINTENDO FOR HOURS ON END IN YOUR BEST FRIENDS COUNTRY HOUSE UNTIL THE GOOMBA STOPS TURNS AND STARES AT YOU (GOOMBA ITS WHAT THOSE THINGS WERE CALLED ON SUPER MARIO BROS)? 

ever go on a motorcycle ride through beautiful scenery, enriched with the earthen scent of summer? EVER EXPERIENCE THE BRISK CHANGE FROM SUMMER TO AUTUMN, WITH THE BEAUTIFUL FALL FOLIAGE, AND SIP ON SOME FRESH APPLE CIDER TO BOOT?? HUH?? TO BOOT!???

ever enjoy ice cream at an ice cream stand, while vintage cars are on display outside? ever feign off the moths and mosquitos during an outdoor baseball or softball game at dusk until night? ever go skinny dipping in the river? ever have sex in a swimming pool, while no one is around of course....

lets see.....i cant think anymore!???! EDIT...there are more things im just getting tired, and in defense now of sweet california, where the girls like glitter in their coffee, aka katy perry...california girls!! so carefree so california, dude!??!?!

i would like to say, however....i love my east coast, i grew up here....but i do enjoy california. montery for one, is a very nice coastal town. it is. so is the presidio of monterey. i have lots of memories there. you won't understand as a civilian tho, you have to be military to understand. some parts of hollywood SUCK but get up into laurel canyon it gets nice. oh, the redwood forests are out there. sure....

and nice towns, you know..for glamping. "glamping" you know!!! wineries, i bet....mulholland drive seems whimsical....coldwater canyon seems mystical, and creepy (read the clive barker book)

plus hollywood may have alot to offer, so im not toTALLY dissing it! but yeah, for all those who say west coast is better!?? to that i say, WHAT?? how do you even know if you lived there all your life!??? you have never experienced what the east coast has to offer, so DONT TALK!! (kidding with the attitude haha!)

for real tho! oh and the beaches out here have hot sand...HOT sand! you can dip in the ocean without freezing! walk on the boardwalk and enjoy a huge slice of pizza..its the jersey shore yo! jersey shore is filmed at seaside heights, but pt pleasant is actually the spot, or....idk? i havent went to the JOISEY SHORE in so long. im talking about where i grew up tho, im not going to venture into cliche NJ...i was also referring to canada and vermont. when i get the chance i want to convert old home videos, (like our florida trip) smack them on youtube, and post them. i will...when i get the chance.

alright i guess that was what i wanted to write? not really tho but its late, and freaking HOT!! damnet! good NIGHT!
