So, like I said, my parents brought over the turkey (since it was defrosting anyways, since they had no power) so we had an early thanksgiving dinner. i feel like crying...its just the whole thing about this hurricane. inside edition is covering it well but damn you know!?? also, i understand the marathon runners were training for years for this, but it is respectful they cancelled that marathon, but they had all kinds of apples, water, etc for the runners.that kind of makes me feel bad too but at times like this, well, all the help should go to the victims. oh yeah, a bunch of trucks to help came from the south to help, (worded weird sorry!) union told them to go home. http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/11/non-union_utility_crew_from_al.html
(look at that link above and see the freemasons comments...for example
We
had 100+ tons of transformers, wire, poles etc. Along with 80 bucket
trucks. We are back home now in 70 degree sunny weather washing the
eggs and garbage from our trucks. I hate being called a scumbag scab
and thief by someone when you are trying to save their families life.
Sitting down to a 20 oz ribeye, baked sweet tater, fresh baked homemade
biscuit, big glass of sweet tea and banana pudding for desert. Y'all
New Yorkers have a great time now ya-hear.
i see snopes debunked this? oh, snopes http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/sandyunion.asp
help should be welcomed in all forms during times like these..you know..DIRE times!?! also, like my dad says, electric wires should be run UNDERGROUND! i am sure that would be possible, you know?
hotels jacked up the prices too. gas stations have been doing it. well, my parents got their power back and so did my sister. oh inside edition said people have been complaining their stories have been too negative.
i drank a cup of coffee i feel all nervous and weird now. coffee makes me feel that way, plus im somewhat lactose intolerant, i think....anyways....sigh
